Ocoee housing runs the full range, and the van is stocked for all of it: older lakeside bungalows and mid-century blocks near Starke Lake, 1970s–90s subdivisions along Maguire and Ocoee-Apopka roads, and brand-new construction toward Beulah and the 429. Each stock has its own habits — original cylinders that rekey well, doors that have shifted on their frames over the years, builder-grade hardware on new doors that was never meant to be the last lock you buy.
You talk to the locksmith who does the work. Describe the door, get a fixed price, and the job happens in one visit whenever the hardware allows it.

Quick answers
Do you need to prove it’s my home?
Yes — an ID with the address, a piece of mail or a lease. It’s quick, and it protects everyone inside.
We just closed on a new build west of the 429. Rekey or replace?
Rekey first: the builder’s keys circulated through many hands before yours. If a cylinder is worn or you want an upgrade, we’ll say so and quote it separately.
Can the new lock use the same key as the rest of the house?
Usually yes, when the brands share a keyway. Mixed hardware is common in houses that grew lock by lock — we tell you what can join one keyring before starting.
Which areas do you cover for house calls?
All of Ocoee plus Winter Garden, Windermere, Oakland, Gotha, Horizon West and Apopka. Outside that line we say so on the phone instead of wasting your evening.
Do I need to buy the lock myself first?
No — the van carries common residential hardware, or we install what you already bought. Either way the install quote is fixed before work starts.
Standing in front of a stuck door?
Call, get the price, and the van rolls with everything on board.
