Duplicate car key service in Ocoee, FL
“The truck came with one key” is how almost every story about a lost key starts. A spare cut now costs a fraction of an all-keys-lost job later — and the van makes it where the car sits.

What’s included
- Simple metal backups cut while you wait — the cheapest insurance a one-key truck can have.
- Laser-cut transponder spares cut and paired — the spare that actually starts the car, not just opens the door.
- Remote head keys duplicated with working buttons and a paired chip — one piece, not a key plus a fob taped together.
- Proximity fob clones for push-to-start cars — tested on every function before we hand it over.
- Motorcycle backup keys cut and duplicated on site — the small-key machines ride in the van.
What moves the price
- The key type — a plain metal backup is the floor; a proximity clone is the ceiling.
- Whether the spare must start the car (chip pairing) or just open it.
- How many copies you want — the second and third copy cost less than the first.
Priced by key type: metal edge-cut backup $45–$75, laser-cut transponder $90–$160, remote head with buttons $120–$220, proximity clone $160–$290, motorcycle backup $55–$95.

Quick answers
Can a locksmith copy a key with a chip in it?
Yes — transponder, laser-cut and proximity keys are all duplicated on site, paired to the immobilizer and tested. Big-box stores cut the blade and can’t pair the chip; that difference is why the spare works.
Why bother with a spare if I have one working key?
Because an all-keys-lost job costs $150–$280 and starts with being stranded. A metal backup at $45–$75, cut this week, is the cheapest version of that emergency.
Can you duplicate a fob with push-to-start?
Yes — proximity clones are the top of the range ($160–$290), done in the van and tested on every function: lock, unlock, trunk and start.
Is a duplicated key as good as the original?
Functionally yes — same cut, same pairing, same range. The one honest caveat: some manufacturer fobs lose their waterproofing rating when cloned, and we tell you if yours is one of them.
How many spares should a two-driver household have?
Three total is the practical answer: one each plus one stored at home. The second and third copies cost less than the first visit.
